About Sparrow Hawk Developments
Sparrow Hawk Developments Ltd., is the newly created economic development corporation for Peepeekisis First Nation. Located in the Qu’Appelle Valley in Southern Saskatchewan, Peepeekisis First Nation is 3,148 people strong. Chief Canahhachapew (Making Ready the Bow) signed Treaty 4 on September 21, 1874. Peepeekisis, Cree: ᐲᐦᐲᑭᓰᐢ, pîhpîkisîs, literal meaning: Sparrow Hawk.
Sparrow Hawk Development’s mission is to provide financial and community benefit to Peepeekisis Cree Nation for generations to come. Sparrow Hawk currently owns the Temple Gardens Hotel and Spa in Moose Jaw, SK and is actively seeking future investments.

Call for Applications - Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is currently made up for 7 Directors. Sparrow Hawk’s bylaws allow for a maximum of 8 Directors. Sparrow Hawk is seeking applications to join the Board as a Director. Preference will be given to applications from Peepeekisis Cree Nation Band Members and/or First Nation applicants. Applications should have knowledge and experience in:
Indigenous economic development
Significant experience of leading multi-million-dollar investments
Significant experience in the Saskatchewan natural resources sector with a focus on critical minerals (e.g. helium, potash)
Significant experience in mergers, acquisitions and business development
